The Smithsonian Celebrates Norway's Centennial Anniversary with cultural presentations from coast to coast.
The Norwegian Embassy and The Smithsonian Associates will present a program to the public on Norwegian society, culture, and foreign policy. A series of seminars and cultural events will be based on the themes "Norway's role as a partner for peace and development," "Norway's role in exploration of the natural world," and "Norway's role as a modern nation: Celebrating the past, exploring the future."
