The Norwegian Seamen's Church and Young Associates,of the Norwegian American Chamber of Commerce, are organizing a skiing-trip to Butternut, Massachussetts. Approx. 3 hours by bus/car.
For those who drive separately: Check in at kiosk by parking lot or if late at ticket counters and state you are with the Norwegian group to get reduced rates. There will be a fun race at 2 pm: meet at the timed track at the base - look for the Norwegian Flag!Also we have a reserved area in the upper base lodge marked with flags where we can meet for warmup and coffee breaks and after closing of the lifts for premieutdeling etc.
Cost: Lift-card,$28 - Ski rental,$22 - Transportation roundtrip,$5.Total: $55 (if you rent skis)
When: Saturday, February 11. Departure Manhattan at 8am, return at approx 8 pm.
