The Nobel Centennial Exhibition in San Francisco

The Nobel Centennial Exhibition presents selected Laureates and milieus from the 100-year history of the Nobel Prize – in San Francisco from July 14 to October 3.

"What is creativity and how can creative activity best be encouraged?" "Which is more important to the creative process: the individual or the environment?" The Centennial Exhibition examines these questions by presenting selected Laureates and milieus from the 100-year history of the Nobel Prize. The Exhibition does not provide specific answers, but gives visitors the chance to think about these questions for themselves.

In addition to the exhibition there will be an auxiliary program that will promote the exhibition by creating awareness and interest among the general public about the exhibition, the Nobel Prize, and the men and women whose achievements are so honored. This program will involve laureates and also Director of the Nobel Institute, Geir Lundestad.
When: Thursday, July 14 – Monday, October 3.
Where: The Exploratorium,  the Palace of Fine Arts, 3601 Lyon Street, San Francisco
Info: (415) 561-0360
