North Waseca Lutheran Church celebrates 150 years

North Waseca Lutheran Church, an ELCA church in Waseca county, Minnesota, celebrates its 150th year of ministry with a ceremony on October 19, 2008.

North Waseca Lutheran Church was established by Norwegian pioneers the same year that Minnesota became a state. Today it remains a healthy and alive church with weekly worship, Sunday school, choir, mission support and other ministries.

The church is celebrating its 150th anniversary with a Celebration Worship Service in the Sanctuary, a Self-Guided Cemetery Walk and a catered meal in the Church basement. The Authors of Growing Up Lutheran, Janet Letness Martin & Suzann Nelson will hold a presentation.
