Comic writer JASON visits Minneapolis

JASON is constantly drawing and developing new projects. In April he will visit Minneapolis to celebrate the centennial anniversary

He is known as the author of mjaumjau and in 1991 he won  the Norwegian Comics Association yearly comics competition with the story Pervo. In 1997 the first issue of his own comic book Mjau Mjau ("Meow Meow") was released. His universal stories of love, loss and redemption are told with simple, elegant drawings and he can be termed a graphic novelist.

JASON will be in Mindekirken April 12 and Psst! a performance based on JASON's work will be performed at Franklin Art Works Theatre 14 - 30 April, Thursdays through Saturdays 8 PM. This is a performance based on movement and no spoken text. The Psst! story is one of a classic love triangle brought to life by thirteen performers, directed by Off-leash founders Paul Herwig and Jennifer Isle. The Off-leash area was founded in 1999 and is dedicated to creating well-crafted, experimental but accessible performances.
Where: Mindekirken and Franklin Arts Work, Minneapolis, MN
