Variations on a Theme: New York Celebrates Norway's Centennial.
A performance event to celebrate the Centennial of Norwegian Independence in the presence of Their Majesties, King Harald V and Queen Sonja of Norway.
The program will consist of music, dance, and readings from past to present, featuring Norwegian and Norwegian-American performers living in the New York area: David Coucheron (Violin), Jostein Gulbrandsen (Guitar), Anna Guttormsgaard (Actor), Stevie Holland (Singer), John Lidal (Pianist), Martin Løfsnes (Dancer), Ole Mathiesen (Saxophone), Kristin Norderval (Singer), Eivind Opsvik (Composer and Bass), Maria Striar (Actor), Sarah Cameron Sunde (Director) and Kirjan Waage (Actor). Musical director: Eivind Opsvik.
