In 2007, the lucky winner of a trip to Norway was the inspirational Skinny Vinny, who participated in Grete’s Great Gallop 2007, a gruelling 13.1 mile long Norwegian Festival race around Central Park.
Over the past three years, Vinny has changed his life by embracing a healthy lifestyle, lost 150 pounds in the process, and won a trip to Norway to take part in Glitnir Oslo Marathon. “I am so grateful to get this opportunity to compete in Oslo. What a journey it has been, my life has taken a course for the better ever since the first day I decided to start living a healthy lifestyle, and this just topped it all off.”
