Scandinavian programming, provided by Steinar Hybertsen's The Scandinavian Channel, airs on the International Channel Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. (CT). The programming consists of documentaries and magazine shows that feature lifestyles and the culture of Scandinavia. The programming airs in Norwegian, Danish and Swedish.
"We are extremely pleased that the International Channel has been launched in Minneapolis and that our programming is now available to the large group of Scandinavians living in the area," Hybertsen said. "This programming provides viewers with a means to keep in touch with their homelands and native languages, in addition to educating new generations on the unique culture of Scandinavia."
Minneapolis Paragon Cable subscribers can find the International Channel on channel 22B. New Ulm subscribers should tune to channel 51, and St. Lois Park subscribers to channel 75.
