Variations on a Theme: A performance event at the The Norwegian Seamen’s Church to celebrate the Centennial of Norwegian Independence in the presence of Their Majesties, King Harald V and Queen Sonja of Norway.
Monday, February 28
Oslo Cathedral Choir performs at St. Thomas Church in New York.
Tuesday, March 1
Business luncheon at the Waldorf Astoria hosted by Innovation Norway (IN) and the Norwegian-American Chamber of Commerce (NACC). Norsk Hydro receives the Trade Award.
American Scandinavian Foundation's Norway Centennial Ball in honor of Their Majesties at The Pierre Hotel.
HOUSTON
Wednesday, March 2
The INTSOK-summit in Houston features several prominent speakers, including His Majesty King Harald V, Ms. Thorild Widvey, Mr. Lee Rayomond, Mr. James J. Mulva and Mr. Tore Torvund.
H. M. Queen Sonja opens the Norwegian exhibit " C for Courage" at The Children's Museum of Houston.
Thursday, March 3
Their Majesties visit the Norwegian Seamen's Church in Pasadena, and meet with some of the Norwegian community in Texas.
