Grand celebration of HM King Harald’s 70th birthday

Heads of state and guests from most of Europe’s royal families gathered in Oslo to participate in His Majesty's birthday celebrations at the end of February, 2007.

Royal humanitarian effort

When Crown Princess Mette-Marit and Crown Prince Haakon got married five years ago, they set up a humanitarian fund. This year the fund supports a Russian aids centre and The Church City Mission in Norway, while the Norwegian government awarded more than NOK 4 million to the fund.

The Royal Family marks the coronation centennial
