The Vesterheim Norwegian-American museum presents an exhibition of contemporary rosemaling. The artwork is testing new areas of rosemaling traditions, from rosemaling on cement, kinetic sculpture, furniture and to fashion, often with a humorous spin of the traditional Norwegian rosemaling. The exhibition features award-winning artwork. "Rosemaling on the Edge" is presented in conjunction with "First Flowers: Rosemaling by Early Masters" and the symposium "The Art of Rosemaling: Traditions Meets the Creative Mind"
