May 17th Celebrations with the Norwegian Seamen's Church in California

Come celebrate the Norwegian Constitution Day with the Norwegian Seamen's Church at Crissy Field in San Francisco, or at Nansen Field in Los Angeles. Featuring parades, music, games for all ages, traditional food and drinks and lots of fun!

The Norwegian Seamen's Church in San Francisco

The celebration will take place at Crissy Field on Sunday the 17th of May from 12AM to 3PM. The program starts with a traditional parade followed by fun games for both children and adults. There will be hot dogs and ice cream for sale.

In the evening the celebration continues at the Norwegian Seamen's Church on Hyde Street, starting at 6PM. Consul General Sten Arne Rosnes from the Norwegian Consulate General in San Francisco will give the speech of the evening, followed by live music performances by Annette Munkeby, saxophone, and Trond Gilberg, piano. Coffee, cake and riskrem will be served. Entrance: $5. No reservations needed.

The Norwegian Seamen's Church in Los Angeles/San Pedro

The Norwegian Seamen's Church in Los Angeles welcomes you to attend their celebration at Nansen Field on Sunday the 17th of May. The gates open at 10AM, and the raising of the Norwegian flag will take place at 10.50AM. The festivities include a service, a marching band, fun games for kids, speeches, food and drinks.
