NORGE: Contemporary Landscapes from the Collection of Her Majesty Queen Sonja of Norway

The exhibit based on the extensive art collection of Her Majesty Queen Sonja of Norway opened at Scandinavia House in New York March 3.

This exhibition of works by some of Norway's leading artists provides a unique perspective on the vitality and originality of Norway's thriving contemporary art scene, as well as the strong connection between the visual arts in Norway and the country's extraordinary landscape.  All of the works in the exhibition are drawn from the extensive art collection of H.M. Queen Sonja of Norway, who has curated NORGE with the assistance of the collaborating curator, Karin Hellandsjø, Director of Special Projects at the National Museum of Norway.

Wednesday, March 2 at 6 pm.
Karin Hellandsjø, collaborating curator of NORGE: Contemporary Landscapes from the Collection of H.M. Queen Sonja of Norway, will moderate a panel made up of artists in the exhibition.
