This group show is curated by Brooklyn photographer Linda Gilbert-Schneider and features 11 artists representing Brooklyn and surrounding areas. These artists offer their own take on “Dining in /Dining Out”, transforming media into tales and concept. In Irene Christensen’s large oil painting "Master of the Feast”, Mother Earth is having a picnic with a bird and a fish. Irene Christensen creates a personal iconography whose symbols, rooted in the figurative and landscape images with colors setting moods, transform simple forms into my mythology.
