From June to August 2 you may experience the Norwegian artist Merete Sejersted Bodtker at the annual Summer Exhibition at New York Academy of Art.
Works by alumni and current students of the New York Academy of Art are included in this exhibition of paintings, drawings, sculpture, and prints. The Tribeca-based NYAA, which celebrates its 27th year, was founded by artists, scholars, and patrons of the arts - including Andy Warhol - who were interested in fostering the resurgence of figurative and representational art. The exhibition will be juried by Eric Fischl (artist), Matthew Flowers (gallerist) and Anne Strauss (curator, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York).
