Marit Tingleff exhibits at Nancy Margolis Gallery
Marit Tingleff is one of Norway’s leading ceramists. Her works have been exhibited in the USA, Japan, Scandinavia and Great Britain, including the Victoria & Albert Museum in London.
Ms. Tingleff’s work has strong ornamental features, with an especially rich and advanced glaze. One can also view her as a gifted painter who uses large ceramics as canvas. Two wall objects by Ms. Tingleff will be exhibited in the upcoming group exhibit at the Nancy Margolis Gallery. Contemporary Norwegian ceramics are of high quality and are getting more recognition globally.
