The celebrated architectural exhibition ”Kristin Jarmund Selected Works” is available to the public this Summer, at The Catholic University of America. The exhibition was opened on June 17 with lectures and a reception at the university.

On June 17, the Norwegian Ambassador started the event by thanking The Catholic University of America for hosting the exhibition and introducing the senior curator at the Norwegian National Museum of Art, Architecture and Design, Eva E. Madshus. The senior curator gave an introduction of some of Norway’s most influential contemporary architects and architectural firms.

Finally, there was a lecture by the architect herself, Kristin Jarmund. She talked about some of her projects, including the Norwegian embassy in Nepal and the café in the National Gallery in Oslo. She explained that her main focus throughout her projects was ”scale and proportions.” The lectures were followed by a Q &A session with many eager questions, before everyone got a chance to have a look at the exhibition.
