Norwegian Festival/Norway Run 2009 in Central Park

The Norwegian ambassador Wegger Chr. Strommen will open the 16th annual Norway Day celebration in San Francisco May 2-4. This years program can boast with celebrities Arve Tellefsen and Lars Lillo-Stenberg, presentation of Norwegian culinary treats, plenty of activities for kids, local vendors selling Norwegian crafts, clothing, food, art and much more.

The 14th annual Norway Day Festival took place this weekend in San Francisco . The Festival was a success with almost 4,000 visitors, as people of all ages gathered to celebrate and experience Norwegian culture.

The Royal Norwegian Consulate General with The European Union National Institutes for Culture (EUNIC), announces three evenings of debate and discussion, co-hosted by EUNIC and The New York Public Library, June 9 - 11, 2009, as part of the ongoing festival, Muslim Voices: Arts and Ideas  

On May 20, 2009, the largest arts festival in the Nordic countries opens in Bergen. Politicians are encouraged to let themselves be inspired.
