New Jersey Folk Festival - Commemorating 100 years of Norwegian Independence

A celebration with Norwegian-American Folklife showcased by Norwegian themed artists such as Daughters of Scandinavia, Nansen Norwegian Folk Dancers and Norwegian Folk Dance Society of New York, Scandinavian Delight, Sonja Savig, Virago Music, Kati Brower and Mara Hansen. A major attraction to the New Jersey Folk Festival is its juried craft market, where one can find invited craft demonstrators and exhibitors. Among them are Linda Miller with Rosemaling, Al Miller with Norwegian Woodcarving, Virginia Hinchman with Wool Spinning, Bette Baumgardt with Hardanger Embroidery. Also featured ; Deb Calloway and The Ostvik Viking Encampment and the Viking Longboat Replica.
