Lillehammer Lodge Manhattan, Sons of Norway and Fordham University's Peace and Justice Certificate Program presents this program to commemorate Norway 's 2005 Centennial.
Norway plays an extremely important role in peacekeeping and reconciliation initiatives in the world. You are invited to hear presentations by Johan Løvald, Norway's Ambassador to the United Nations, and Major Arve Lauritzen, deputy military adviser to the Norwegian Mission to the UN, followed by a stimulating round-table discussion and questions from students and faculty of Fordham's Peace and Justice Certificate Program. The program is free, and open to students and the public. Reception will follow the program.
