Dr. Geir Lundestad of the Nobel Institute in Oslo, Norway, will hold a lecture at Houstonian Hotel at noon on March 15. The theme of his talk is “The U.S. and Europe: A Transatlantic Drift?”
Dr. Lundestad, who is a longstanding expert on transatlantic relations, and has been Director of the Norwegian Nobel Institute in Oslo and Secretary of the Norwegian Nobel Committee since 1990. The principal duty of the Nobel Institute is to assist the Nobel Committee in selecting the recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize and to organize the Nobel events in Oslo.
