Hidden Falls - Mystery and Romance in Western Norway

In this mystery set in Norway, an American woman’s determination to find her cousin’s killer thrusts her into danger, romance, and a quest for justice. Hidden Falls is written by Carla Danziger.

American Kris Kelly, seeking to recover from the breakup of her marriage, vacations at a fjord hotel in summer 1995 with her cousin Elsa Jenssen, a popular Norwegian journalist.  But everything changes when Elsa is found dead near Hidden Falls. A number of reasons lead authorities to conclude that her death was accidental. Kris's gut feelings tell her otherwise; yet she must return to Bergen to comfort Elsa's grieving father. When he, too, asserts that Elsa's death was not accidental, Kris searches for the truth.

Elsa's connections with the newspaper editor for whom she worked, her opinionated columns, her private ghosts from the Nazi occupation of Norway, and her post-war years in England, lead Kris into danger and romance, and the throes of a clandestine plot and soul-searching questions about justice.
