Norway represented at ICFF 2007 in New York

The 19th annual International Contemporary Furniture Fair May 19-22, 2007 will transform New York City's Jacob K. Javits Convention Center into the global haven for design devotees. Designers Sari Syväluoma and Johan Ørbeck Aase from Finland / Norway are first time exhibitors at ICFF-2007 in New York.

Johan Ørbeck Aase exhibited at Stockholm Green House 2006 with his ”Aurora” shelving system. This led to production of Aurora and collaboration with the Italian manufacturer Iren Uffici.
Sari Syväluoma has exhibited in national and international arenas since 1990. She was represented at the London 100% Design exhibition from 2001 to 2005 and again at Salone Satellite Milan Furniture Fair in 2002. Her most recent solo exhibition is Textile Landscapes in Oslo, March 2006. Sari received The National 3-year Scholarship for Artists in 2007.
Both Sari and Johan were selected to represent Norway at “100% Norway” as part of London Design festival in September 2006.
