Ibsen films; “It Takes An Other Kind of Man” at Hunter College

The Ibsen film series will be introduced by Text on Film scholar Anne-Katrin Titze at Hunter College in October; A Romantic Trilogy: A Play of Modern Life, Hitchcock’s New Set of Dolls, and Nothing But the Truth. Followed by post screening discussions.

October 3: "A Doll’s House" (1973), directed by Patrick Garland. Starring Anthony Hopkins and Claire Bloom.

October 17: "An Enemy Of The People" (1990), adaptation by Arthur Miller. Starring George Grizzard and John Glover with commentary by Arthur Miller.
“It is his insistence, his utter conviction, that he is going to say what he has to say, and that the audience, by God, is going to listen.”

Free admission.
When: October 3 &17 at 5pm (Also; October 10: "Rear Window" (1954), directed by Alfred Hitchcock)
