Norwegian artist Irene Christensen takes part in PIER ART SHOW 12, Brooklyn Waterfront Artists Coalition (BWAC). She will show 6 of her paintings. Over 1000 original works by over 300 emerging and established artists will be on view. Performances, music and artists talks are scheduled. A silent, affordable art auction will be ongoing. Admission is FREE, so come enjoy exciting art and take in the unique panorama of the Red Hook Pier.
When: Saturday, May 8th through Sunday, June 27th, weekends only and including Memorial Day May 31, noon to 6 pm.
Where: Red Hook Pier, 499 Van Brunt Street, a 20,000 square foot, historic Civil War warehouse gallery with an incredible harbor view. Both the B77 (G and F Train to Smith/9th) and the B61 (A and F Train to Jay Street) buses go to Van Brunt Street. Parking is available.
