Monica Fürst's exhibition opens at the Norwegian Seamen's Church on Thursday, September 9 at 6 p.m. There will also be a Vibrant Tango performance by Kjersti Berg Tufta (Norwegian) and Marco Salcedo (Peruvian) at approximately 6.30 p.m.
This is Monica Furst's first solo exhibit in New York. Educated in Oslo and Paris, she has numerous solo and collective exhibitions behind her both in Norway as well as abroad. This artist is well known for the voluptuous female characters and bold colors in her paintings. Opening reception Thursday, September 9 from 6-8 pm.
