Irene Christensen In a Juried Exhibition
Norwegian painter Irene Christensen is showing two paintings as part of the Juried Exhibition at Gallery 744 from October 23.
The Tour commences on Thursday evening, October 23rd at the historic National Newark Building located at 744 Broad Street, with an Opening Reception and group show of approximately 30 highly-talented Newark and International artists. Yoland Skeete, director of Newark’s Sumei Multidisciplinary Art Gallery, is returning curator of the aptly named Gallery 744.
The show’s guests jurors are renowned artists Willie Cole and Ben Jones, both internationally revered artists. Selected artists were determined from submissions of entries, and include international participants from Gambia, Italy, Holland, Iraq, New York, Newark and throughout New Jersey, demonstrating that all roads really do lead to Newark.
When: October 23 through December 5, Wed - Sat from11am to 4pm.
