Dialogue for Peace: Bridging Our Differences

Norway House Minnesota Peace Initiative and the Oslo Center for Peace and Human Rights – U.S. Foundation  presents a forum called ”Dialogue for Peace: Bridging Our Differences” in Minneapolis.

The welcoming remarks will be given by Brian Atwood, Dean of the Humphrey Institute, who will also be the moderator of the forum. President of Minnesota International Center, Carol E. Byrne, will be framing the discussion and Janet Dolan will give the closing remarks for Norway House Minnesota Peace Initiative and the Oslo Center for Peace and Human Rights – U.S. Foundation.

The forum will have a panel of speakers. The distinguished panel guests include H.E. Ambassador Rolf Willy Hansen (Norwegian Ambassador to Syria and previously Norway’s Consul General in Minneapolis), Ms. Ingrid Vik, Senior Advisor at the Oslo Center for Peace and Human Rights, Imam Senaid Kobilica, President of the Islamic Council of Norway and Abdi Samatar, Professor of Geography and Global Studies at the University of Minnesota.

The registration will start at 5:30 pm and the forum will start at 6:00 pm. After the forum, at 8pm, there will be a reception.

The event is free and open to the public, however, reservations are required.
