His Royal Highness Crown Prince Haakon of Norway will celebrate the centennial of the Norwegian Seamen’s Church in New Orleans on Sunday, October 15 at 1772 Prytania Street from 9:30 am to 1 pm.

Alaskan mountain named after Norwegian explorer, Helge Ingstad. Naming ceremony to be held on September 10, preceded by academic symposium on September 8-9.

The naming ceremony of “Ingstsad Mountain” at Anaktuvuk Pass, Alaska, will round off the Ingstad Memorial Symposium on Arctic Change, to be held at the University of Alaska Fairbanks on September 8-10.
