Don’t miss the Norwegian/ Swedish jazz band ”The Thing,” during their US tour in April 2009. From April 26 - 30 they will play in California, Oregon and Washington.
"The Thing” consists of two Norwegians, bassist Ingebrigt Håker Flaten and drummer Paal Nilssen-Love, and Swedish saxophonist Mats Gustafsson. The trio was established in 2000 during a series of concerts in Stockholm. Fusing German, British and American traditions of free music, their repertoire includes a broad range of cover songs, in addition to original material.
