Terje Isungset will be playing music on instruments made out of ice on the 25th of February at the Cedar. With Norwegian Singer Mari Kvien Brunvoll, his “Ice Music” will be played for the first time in Minnesota.
Isungset is an accomplished percussionist with over two decades of experience in jazz and Scandinavia. Transcending traditional boundaries, his avant-garde music deeply rooted in tradition have been described as “innovative, visual, energetic, and different from any previously known concepts” in the press (http:/isung.no/).
