The 40th Anniversary Troop Exchange Banquet was held Feb. 17th and the Hilton Hotel in Minneapolis. There were approximately 460 guests attending the banquet. The official party at the banquet included: Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton; Norway's Chief of Defense General Harald Sunde; Chief of Staff of the Norwegian Home Guard Kristin Lund; Honorary Consul General Gary Gandrud; Minnesota's Adjutant General Major General Richard Nash; Senator Amy Klobuchar; and Ambassador of Norway to the United States Wegger Christian Strommen. The Master of Ceremonies was Don Shelby. Prior to the dinner there was a reception with sponsor display tables. Preceding the reception and banquet many of the VIPs met at the governor's residence for a social hour and gift exchange.
