"New Land, New Life: Norwegian Immigration in Minnesota 1825-1925" exhibition hosted by Ramsey County Historical Society

From February 28 through June 20, 2013, the Ramsey County Historical Society will host "New Land, New Life: Norwegian Immigration in Minnesota 1825-1925" by Sons of Norway, St. Paul Lodge. The exhibit highlights the history, culture, and first-hand accounts of the lives of Norwegian immigrants to Minnesota and St. Paul.

4/6    11am-1pm    Norwegian Knitting, Symbols and Skinfel Art, and Birkebeiner
           1pm-3pm    Birch Box, Bowl Turning, and Shrinkbox Making demonstration and lecture (AAW Gallery of Wood Art on the second floor of Landmark Center)
4/13   11am-1pm    Runes and Genealogy
4/20   11am-1pm    Hardanger Fiddle, Psalmodiken, Hardanger Embroidery, Wood Carving
4/27   11am-1pm    Norwegian Language
