Cultural exchange between the two the US and Norway are among the key priorities at the Consulate General in New York. Currently there is a momentum for Norwegian and Scandinavian art, design and architecture in the US and on the international cultural scene.
“I am very much looking forward to work with both the most interesting representatives of Norwegian artists and the best of New York’s cultural institutions. There seem to be keen interest given to Norwegian architecture and design at the moment, and there seem to be an abundance of Norwegian activity on the very international scene here in New York”, Elin Bergithe Rognlie says.
Anyone interested in Norwegian cultural events are encouraged to visit www.norway.org regularly and sign up to our newsletter to get information on Norwegian cultural events happening in the area.
