The visa and passport office is open from 9am - 12 noon Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Wednesday closed. See more information here.

Consular Services
The Consulate General in New York provides consular services for the following states: Connecticut, Delaware, Indiana, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, Georgia, Illinois, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Vermont, Virginia and West Virginia. The Consulate General administers 8 Honorary Consulates/Consulates General under its jurisdiction.

Culture and information
The Consulate General provides information on Norway to the public in the district, and facilitates cultural and educational exchange between the two countries.

Education
The coordinator of international education assists Norwegian students in North America with a wide range of issues, and provides information about studies in Norway.
