Entry-visas to Denmark
Applicants who require entry-visas for Denmark can obtain these through the Norwegian Consulate General in San Francisco. You can only obtain an entry-visa after you have been granted a permit (U.S. citizens do not need an entry-visa). To apply for the entry-visa, mail us your passport, the decision letter from the Danish Immigration Service that confirms you have received a permit, one passport-sized picture meeting our requirements, your planned itinerary, as well as a prepaid return envelope/slip from USPS or Fedex. At this point, some applicants may be asked to appear in person, but this is at the discretion of the visa section.
If you have questions about this process, please direct them to firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject line "AT/OT <your last name>". Note that general questions regarding work, student or residency permits to Denmark should be directed to the Danish immigration authorities or a Danish Foreign Mission.
