Norwegian crime author to NYC literature festival

His thriller "The Oslo Conspiracy" was released in the US earlier this year. In December author Asle Skredderberget will be at the New Literature from Europe Festival in NYC.


Norwegian author Asle Skredderberget will participate in the festival New Literature from Europe in New York in December. The festival is an annual celebration of writing from across the European continent, featuring readings and discussions between leading and emerging literary voices from Europe, and some of America’s foremost writers and critics.

Asle Skredderberget is the author of the Milo Cavalli crime series. His thriller The Oslo Conspiracy was published in the US by St. Martin’s Press/Thomas Dunne Books in October 2016 and the sequel is planned for release in 2017. His debut novel was shortlisted for the prestigious Riverton prize in Norway as best crime novel of the year. Skredderberget also works as a non-fiction and television writer.
