The fashion designers of Moods of Norway, Peder Børresen and Simen Staalnacke, will give an inspiring lecture at the Museum at FIT in New York on October 8th to discuss their ultra-traditional and hyper-Norwegian fashion line, and how their successful marketing strategy allowed them to sell golden tractors around the world.

On October 8th at 6:00pm, Simen and Peder will talk and discuss their line of colorful fashion clothing featuring traditional Norwegian images and elements as part of their marketing strategy at the Museum at FIT in New York.

From their main office in Stryn, a magical place known for glaciers, salmon fishing and one newly opened escalator, Peder Børresen, Simen Staalnacke, and Stefan Dahlkvist of Moods of Norway have garnered unprecedented international acclaim in just five years. Featuring fashionalble street and coctailwear with an explosion of colors and traditional Norwegian patterns, this summer marked the opening of the first Moods of Norway store in the US in Beverly Hills - a celebration complete with imported snow, a skiing competition, a golden tractor and Norwegian waffles. Never straying from their values and roots the brand has opened stores in Japan, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the Benelux countries, but also in tiny Flø, a Norwegian town with a population of 160.

Please RSVP for the Moods of Norway lecture to the Museum at FIT either by e-mail or phone.
