Six architecture firms are finalists for a new, collective building complex to house the National Museum of Art, Architecture and Design on the site of the old Railway Station West, Vestbanen, in Oslo.
Statsbygg - Public Construction and Property, Norway - has been instructed by the Ministry of Culture and Church Affairs to initiate the planning of Phase 2 of the open, international planning and design competition for architects a new, collective building complex to house the National Museum of Art, Architecture and Design on the site of the old Railway Station West, Vestbanen, in Oslo. The winner will be announced on April 12, 2010. The architectural firms behind the submissions are kept anonynous according to the rules and regulations of architectural competitions.
