Norwegian architecture and cuisine at Ambassador Strommen's residence in Washington, DC
On September 17, the Norwegian Embassy gives you a unique chance to learn more about Norwegian architecture and experience Norwegian cuisine at Ambassador Strommen’s residence in Washington, D.C.
In collaboration with The International Club of D.C, the Royal Norwegian Embassy is pleased to invite you to this presentation of Norwegian culture. The evening will begin with welcome remarks by Ambassador Strommen. Peter MacKeith, a renowned expert on Norwegian architecture and design, will thereafter give a lecture on Norwegian architecture titled “From Nature to Ecology: Norwegian Architecture Now”.
Afterwards, you will be invited to sample traditional Norwegian delicacies prepared by the ambassador's chef along with wine. The evening also provides you with the opportunity to meet diplomatic personnel at the embassy as well as other International Club of DC members in attendance.
