With national costumes, arts and crafts and traditional raisin buns the Norwegian Embassy participated in the 2011 International Children's Festival at the Meridien International Center in Washington DC, May 21.

The festival consisted of different stands from the 26 Embassies in total, and the children and parents could visit the different parts of the world and get a star sticker to attach to a globe map baloon as they went along. The Norwegian stand was busy all day with children making their own personalized "christmas basket", learning about Norwegian folk costumes, traditions and eating the great raisin buns made by the Embassy chef.
