Norsk Høstfest, North America’s largest Scandinavian Festival is a four-day and five-night event in Minot, North Dakota. The Festival is celebrating Scandinavian heritage from Iceland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland. The 36th annual Norsk Høstfest festival will be held from October 1-5, 2013, and kicks off Tuesday night at 5 PM (Oct. 1) with opening ceremonies and an evening concert. After the opening the Festival runs every day from 7.30 AM to 10.30 PM.
Tens of thousands of people attend the annual event to celebrate and partake in Scandinavian culture and world-class entertainment. More than 200 internationally-recognized artisans, craftsmen and chefs participate in the festival every year. The experience is an eclectic array of the contemporary and the traditional with authentic cuisine, clothes, art and jewelry of fine quality.
