Scandinavian Festival in New Mexico

A Scandinavian Festival, sponsored annually by the Rosemalers of New Mexico, will be held at the Immanuel Presbyterian Church in Albuquerque, NM on Saturday, November 5, 2011.

The festival features Norwegian and Swedish folk art, books, Christmas ornaments, cards, jewelry, t-shirts and cookbooks. The women will be dressed in ethnic costumes and the Scandinavian Club will serve Old World cookies and coffee. There will be Norwegian storytelling by Mike Langner and a Viking re-enactment by the Suđrland Vikings. Scandinavian dancing will be haeld at 11 am, 12 noon and 1 pm. There will also be a kids' craft corner.  Free admission & parking.

Location: Immanuel Presbyterian Church, 114 Carlisle SE (just south of Central), Albuquerque.
