Norwegian director Hans Petter Moland’s documentary on global economy - "When Bubbles Burst", have been selected for the program at the international documentary film festival SilverDocs in Silver Springs, MD. The film will be screened on Saturday June 23 at 7:00 pm.
Providing a fascinating glimpse into the inner workings of the global economy, WHEN BUBBLES BURST begins with the examination of a microcosm of the recent financial crisis fallout in a picturesque town in Norway called Vik and looks at the broader mechanics at work in the global system that can sometimes generate unforeseen bubbles and catastrophic crashes, all the while looking toward what the future economy may have in store.
