Bjørn Solli is playing two shows in February and one in March together with his two bands, The Bjørn Solli 4 and The Bjørn Solli Trio, in New York.
Bjørn Solli was born in Norway in 1979 and is now based in New York City. Voted “Young Norwegian Jazz Musician of The Year” in 2002, he has since won numerous awards throughout Europe, including soloist prizes in Belgium, Monaco and Spain, audience prizes in Switzerland and Spain, and a composition prize in France.
Make sure you don't miss their performances, on Friday at Smalls Jazz Club in Greenwich Village, a subterranean jazz dive with brick walls and wooden chairs, and of course world class musicians. On Wednesday the 24th at Fat Cat and on the 4th of March at The Bar Next Door (La Lanterna Caffe).
Lean back, and let the sound of cool jazz take your mind away from the cold of winter.
