The Nordic Countries jazz it up again on the rooftop terrace of House of Sweden, among other places. The annual Nordic Jazz Festival in Washington, D.C., from June 16th through June 18th, features some of the finest representatives of today's Nordic jazz scene with bands from Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden.
On Thursday, June 17th, bands from Iceland, Sweden and Norway will play at the spectacular rooftop terrace of House of Sweden. Norway is represented by Overseas with Eivind Opsvik.
Over the past four years, Opsvik's jazz band “Overseas”, with their music described as “moody and colorful” has become a mainstay in NYC’s progressive music scene.
