The Oh My Rockness and Øya Festival SXSW Send-Off Show was held in New York on Monday, and the SXSW music festival is held in downtown Austin, Texas, this week, March 17th to 21st.
The Oh My Rockness and Øya Festival SXSW Send-Off Show was held at Santos Party House in New York on Monday, March 15th. One after another, the three Norwegian bands Megaphonic Thrift, Hanne Hukkelberg, and Pirate Love played and the evening ended with the American band The Depreciation Guild.
Two of the Norwegian bands that played here in New York are among the 14 Norwegian bands that will perform at SXSW (South by Southwest) in Austin, Texas on March 17th to 21st. SXSW is one of the largest music festivals that are held in the United States each year. Over 80 stages are set up in downtown Austin for this event and bands come from all over the globe to play at SXSW.
The Øya Festival in Oslo, Norway is held from August 10th to 14th this year. In addition to bands from Norway and Europe, several bands from the US will play at the Øya Festival.
