The rock n roll sailors and bastards of Norwegian folk music will present mind-blowing concerts at different venues in USA between April 6 and 15.
The “10 years of piracy US-tour” will be visiting New York City, Maine, Boston and Seattle. We hope to see you, and if not, please spread the news to all your friends and relatives who might live in the neighbourhood.
Storm Weather Shanty Choir celebrates their 10th anniversary in 2010. After long and thorough work we are very humble and happy for all the fans we have received both in Norway and abroad. Last year we released our fourth album and did three national tours of Norway. One of our definite highlights of 2009 was our first tour to the USA. It was a great success, and our forthcoming tour in April is the direct result of this.
The different venues we are playing also shows the diversity in our music: we fit as well on an indie rock venue on Lower East Side as we do in the Nordic Heritage Museum.
Sailors were the first true rock n rollers ... we do our best to keep this in mind!
