The Norwegian all girl rock band The Cocktail Slippers team up with Palmyra Delran, Lenny Kaye and Daddy Long at The Delancey in New York, on Saturday 24th September at 9pm.
"The Cocktail Slippers has the past years been well known as one of histories greatest all female rock bands - both when it comes to their recordings (St. Valentines Day Massacre 2009, Mastermind 2005,... Rock It! 2001) and the bands amazing live performance on stage. This is a band you do not want to miss the opportunity of seeing live! The Cocktail Slippers are working closely with Little Steven Van Zandt, who wrote two songs for their album St. Valentines Day Massacre, and produced the album with the band. The outcome is truly amazing. It made David Frickes Pick column in Rolling Stone Magazine and as he wrote; “... The Cocktail Slippers sound a lot like the Go-Go's but with gas in stead of L.A. cheer, and a mule kick in their high heels.
