Nordic Cool TV: Nordic Programming on TV in DC

Last updated: 2/28/2013 // MHz Networks in the Washington, D.C. area will be airing Nordic television content daily, concurrent with the Kennedy Center's Nordic Cool festival.

WHAT’S ON NORDIC COOL TV ON MHz?

Viewers will experience the intrigue of the Nordic through news, entertainment and more from TV4 Sweden, TV2 Norway, TV2 Denmark,  MTV3 of Finland, NRK Norway and YLE Finland.

Primetime for the month is devoted to Anno 1790, Henning Mankell's Wallander, Irene Huss and more.

The Nordic Council produced three exclusive programs with MHz and Nordic Cool TV on MHz will also feature content from all of the Nordic Embassies in Washington, D.C.

Additional content will be added throughout the month, so check the schedule often.

Where to watch: MHz Networks is available on Comcast, Cox, RCN, Verizon FiOS, Dish Network and DirecTV in the D.C. area. The primary channel, MHz Networks 1, is where Nordic Cool TV is airing (over-the-air channel 30.1). (The full fleet of these channels is exclusive to the D.C. area.)
